The Life For Me

To awake when I'm done with rest
And then spend the day at my request.
Doing what I am pleased to do,
Contented when the day is through.
Is there any purpose higher,
Than to live the life of my desire?
What cares have I what people think?
Life passes by in but a blink.
I’ll live the life that’s right for me!
To hell with those who don’t agree!
