Thoughts

 

 

Today I went hunting
In chase of elusive thought.
Capture is often fleeting,
Though frequent is it sought.

Rare are the sightings
When seen as the profound.
But the trivial are easy finding
And commonly abound.

More challenging than chasing one,
At least for the astute,
Is capturing them once you've begun
Your intellectual pursuit.

Nothing has more power
Than a thought turned into word.
Ink and thought are quite a pair,
Indeed they've changed the world.
